She was predeceased by: her father James Wasinger; her husband William R. "Bill" Denison; and her sister Lynn Hopkins. She is survived by: her mother Barbara Lee Wasinger (Henn) of Hays; her children, John Denison of Hays and Jennifer Kohart (David) of Lawrence; her brother James T. Wasinger of Pasadena, TX; and her grandchildren, Olivia, Hannah Kohart, Phoebe, Kash, Russel and Gunner Denison.

Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Council of Ellis County.
