She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Cornett and Ada Cornett (Elshire); and her sister Ruth Ann Cornett. She is survived by: her sons, AJ Cornett (Violet) of Colby, KS, John Schmidt (Melissa) of Hooker, OK and Steven Cornett of Broomfield, CO; her granddaughters, Payton Marie and Charlie LeeAnn of Hooker, OK; her sister Joyce Schroeder (Larry) of Colby, KS; her nephew Scott Schroeder (Jie) of Union City, CA; and her niece Laura Coulter (Tim) of Colby, KS. She is also survived by six great nieces and nephews; and four great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Denver Rescue Mission, NWKS Foundation for Hope, or to the family for the grandchildren's education and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 291, Colby, KS 67701.
