She was predeceased by: her father Alfred W. "Fritz" Dechant; and her nephew Wade Dreiling. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Dechant (Honas) of Hays; and her siblings, Kenneth Dechant (Judy) of Salina, Linda Rohr (Allen) of Hays, Janice Prater of Hays and Mary Beth Dreiling (Bruce) of Hays. She is also survived by five nephews, five nieces, seven great nephews, seven great nieces, two great-great nephews, and two great-great nieces.
Memorials are suggested to St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church or for masses.
