It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Louise Richards of Hays, Kansas, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of JoAnn Louise Richards to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin "Bud" Mayfield and Leona Mayfield (Werth); her former husband Roger Richards; and her siblings, Gary Mayfield and Rebecca "Becky" Ganoung.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Karlin (Robyn) of Victoria, KS and Keith Karlin (Jolene) of Salina, KS; her brother Cliff Mayfield (Fran) of Hays, KS; and her grandchildren, Dustin (Danielle), Dillon, Dallas, Desirae, Krystal and Kassandra (Zach). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Fidelis Basilica (900 Cathedral Ave, Victoria, KS 67671). The inurnment will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Plainville Cemetery (903 S Cemetery Rd, Plainville, KS 67663).
