He was predeceased by: his parents, Euclide Ferland and Marie Ferland (Benoit); and his siblings, Raymond, Archie, Levi, Julia and Marcella.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Pfannenstiel; his children, Roger Ferland (Betty Hanson) of Hays, Jeff Ferland (Pheobe) of Hays, Rosilda Harman (Rick) of Hays, Susan Ferland (Richard Byrne), Alice Meitl of Lebanon, IN and Karen Crawford of Hays; his siblings, Alcid Ferland (Carolyn) of Hays, Ruth Rempe of Scott City, Jackie Steckline of Ogallah, Loretta Zweifel (Keith) of Lucas and Betty Ferland of Russell; and his grandchildren, Garrett Albers, Zach Rupp (Tesley), Gilbert Rupp (Emily), Clint Rocha (Gina), Marie Holloman (Larry), Aaron Crawford (Taylor), Audrey Dougherty (Tyler), Austin Crawford, Jesse Hanson, Brent Hanson (Stephanie), Jessie McLaren and Thea Ferland. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church, St. Labre Indian School, or for masses.
