With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald L. Winters of Hays, Kansas, born in Gasport, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Winters and Dorothy Winters (Moorehouse); his wife Dorothy Long; and his sister Janet Welge. He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Cooley (Dale) of Syracuse, UT and Jane Rorstrom (Jim) of Hays; his brother-in-law Peter Welge of Jamesville, NY; his grandchildren, Nickolaus Oettinger (Chelsey), Heidi Oettinger (Justin Davidson), Katarina Clinton (Mark), Hans Rorstrom (Hannah), Eric Rorstrom and Carl Rorstrom; and his great grandchildren, Svea Rorstrom and Hope Clinton.

Memorials are suggested to Cornerstone Southern Baptist Church.
