He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb Marks and Nellie Marks; and his brothers, Keith Marks and Carl Marks. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Newell; his daughter Tammy Rein; his grandchildren, Trey, Trent and Darian; and his sister Mary Bartlett.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Barton County Sheriff Office Reserve Fund.
