She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Amon and Alice Frances Mallory (Ropeter); her husband Sylvester Hecky; her daughter Heather Hecky-Gage; and her sister Colleen Manley.
She is survived by: her children, Jacob Kurup (Kristin), Russell, Nicholas Kurup of Hays, KS, Melissa Sennett and Brian Summers of Hays, KS; her son-in-law Lee Gage of Hays, KS; her sisters, Melanie Harmon (Bob) of San Jose, CA and Tina Livingston (Brian) of Campbell, CA; and her grandchildren, Shansy Flax, Chailynn Sennett, Kailie May, Katie May, Gavin Jacobson, Bodhi Gage and Sharon Gage. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren.
