He is survived by: his son Gary Buchanan, Jr. (Victoria); his grandchildren, Gage, Allison, Donavan and Edwardo; his daughter Serina Strizek (Katy Strizek); his brother Everett "Butch" Layton Buchanan III (Jeanie); his nephew Michael Buchanan (Kayla); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ainsley, Layton and Easton; his niece Janica Pete; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alice, Thomas and Wyatt; his niece Kendra Buchanan; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Derick, Janae and Madi; his niece Linzee Buchanan; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexis, JaKenzee and Joshua Anelyse; his sister Sherry Buchanan Ramig (Brad); his nephew Andrew Weining; his great-nephews, Aiden and Mike Leforce; his niece Tausha Woodward; his nephew Hiram Zapata (Evelyn); his great-niece Nayeli Zapata; and also, Taylor and Easton.
