With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail H. Benson of Hays, Kansas, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on May 29, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Underwood and Helen Underwood (Thomas); her husband James Benson; and her brother Mason Underwood. She is survived by: her children, Ross O'Connor of Lubbock, TX, Kathleen Gotch of Sebring, FL, Marjorie Hay of Aloha, OR and Patty Weber (Dennis) of Hays. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
