She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin T. Woellhof and Stella Woellhof (Mosburg) of Clay County, Kansas.; her husband Burton E. Swartz; her siblings, David Woellhof, Paul Woellhof, Edwinna Hall and Maxine Ossman; her brother-in-law Dwaine Shorman; and her nephew Wesley Woellhof.
She is survived by: her stepsons, Stephen Swartz (Sylvia) of Bakersfield and Stewart Swartz of Carol Springs, Illinois; her daughter-in-law Darlene Swartz of Carol Springs, Illinois; her stepgrandchildren, Daniel, Michael (Julia), Joel, Julia, Brandon and Bethany; her great grandchildren, Sadie and Miles Swartz; her sister Rosalie Shorman of Hays, Kansas.; and her nieces and nephews, Mary Nickels, Esther Oborny of Lincoln, Nebraska, Paul James Woellhof of San Antonio, Texas, Charlotte Mattson of Quincy, Washington, Gary Shorman of Hays, Darcy Shorman of Austin and Mark Shorman of The Colony.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Clay Center Wesleyan Church (1109 Court St, Clay Center, KS 67432). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
