It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene F. Kippes of Hays, Kansas, born in Victoria, Kansas, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter C. Kippes and Pauline "Lena" Kippes (Schwartz); his stepsons, Larry Augustine and Mark Wildeman; and his siblings, Roy Kippes, Perry Kippes, Rita Pfeifer and Pearl Leiker.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Ron Augustine (Debe) of Hays, KS, Amanda Cronn (Harry) of WaKeeney, KS, Paul Wildeman (Connie) of Hays, KS, Michael Wildeman of Wichita, KS, Donna Creel (Greg) of Sheridan, WY and Jim Wildeman (Karla) of Pasadena, TX; his stepdaughter-in-law Tina Augustine (Charlie Hughes); and his brother Lloyd Kippes (Benita) of Edmond, OK.. He is also survived by 15 step-grandchildren; 32 step-great grandchildren.
