Dorothy I. Kraus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy I. Kraus (Hays, Kansas), born in Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Sr. Harris and Grace Harris (Reinecke); her husband Ken; and her brothers, Vern and Herman Harris Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Pam Henrickson (Gordon) of Omaha, NE and Steve Kraus (Pattie) of Atlanta, GA; her grandchildren, Aaron Henrickson (Ruthie) and Emily Kraus; her great grandchild Nate Jarrow; and her cousins, Max and Dennis Reinecke. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested and payable to Hays First United Methodist Church or to Fort Hays State Alumni Association, and can be sent to Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine Street, Hays, KS 67601.
