Donald J. Waldschmidt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2023, at the age of 80, Donald J. Waldschmidt of Hays, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald J. Waldschmidt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter C. Waldschmidt and Barbara "Barb" Waldschmidt (Kisner); his sister JoAnn Schmidtberger (Verlin); and his brother-in-law Jim Kasper. He is survived by: his wife Diane M. Roth of Hays; his children, Don Waldschmidt II (Lisa) of Gorham, Doug Waldschmidt of Mesa, AZ and Darcy Wellbrock (Glenn) of Wichita; his siblings, Greg Waldschmidt of Kansas City, Virginia Kasper of Olathe and Barbara Sanborn (Les) of Hutchinson; and his grandchildren, Dave Wellbrock (Jessi), Amber Wellbrock, Ashlenn Wiltcher (Brandon), Eustacia, Vashti, Jada, Asher, Radiah, Zaide Waldschmidt and Joshua Waldschmidt (Alexandria). He is also survived by five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
