He is survived by: his wife Viola R. Heaton; his children, James Hurst (Terri), Douglas Hurst, Margaret "Jodi" Brungardt, Beverly "Jill" Schuckman, Joyce Klaus (Al), DJ Hurst, Connie Hurst-Bayless (Ben), Ardie Hurst and Marsha Stremel (Cary); and his sister Betty Beckley. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
