He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Barton and Dorothy Barton (Welty); and his brothers, Kenneth, Bruce and Richard Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Vlasak; his daughter Shauna Zweifel (Josh); and his granddaughters, Sage of Hays and Brynn Zweifel of Hays.
Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church.
