He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Kroeger and Margaret Kroeger (Wasinger); and his siblings, Verlyn "Slats" Kroeger, Gary Kroeger, Jim Kroeger and Mary Kay Wellbrock.
He is survived by: his wife LeAnne (Hoffman); his daughter Janae Atkerson (Craig) of Hays, KS; his grandchildren, Rylee and Reanna Atkerson; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Kroeger of Lawrence, KS and Paula Kroeger of Hays, KS..
