She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brungardt and Magdalena Brungardt (Mermis); and her siblings, Lioba Weigel, Celeste Herman, James Brungardt, Leo Brungardt, George Brungardt, Lawrence Brungardt, Tom Brungardt and Donald Brungardt.
She is survived by: her husband Edwin Holzmeister of Hays; her children, Susan Holzmeister (Shirley Grecian) of Hays, Ivan Holzmeister (Charlene) of Hays, Kevin Holzmeister Hays (Chris), Tom Holzmeister (Julie) of Lawrenceville, Greg Holzmeister (Miriam) of Gypsum, KS and Eric Holzmeister of Hays; her grandchildren, Adele Runge, Brock Holzmeister, Greyson Holzmeister, Miranda Stein, Andrea Holzmeister, Brieana Holzmeister, Brandon Holzmeister, Shannon Brandenburg, Madison Holzmeister, Dylan Holzmeister, Austin Holzmeister, Nathan Holzmeister, Rachel Byarlay and Victoria Jones; and her pets, Lilly and Tinker. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
