Dale Logan Akers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2024, at the age of 92, Dale Logan Akers of Hays, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carney L. Akers and Florence L. Akers (Altman); his wife Marjorie Joy "Marge" Akers; and his siblings, Kenneth Akers and Lorena Nulton.
He is survived by: his children, Col. Gregory Akers (Jaye J.) of Russell and Debbie Moeckel (Doug) of Topeka; his brother Glenn Akers of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Stuart Moeckel (Summer) of Eudora, Benjamin Moeckel (Lindsey) of Eudora, Jacob Akers (Casey Kilpatrick) of Ann Arbor, MI and Sarah Stilling (Ross) of Annandale, VA; and his great grandchildren, Brennan Moeckel, Braxton Moeckel, Brantley Moeckel, Sophia Moeckel, Holden Stilling and Quinn Stilling. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Cedar Bluff South Shore Cabin Association.
