She was predeceased by: her father Frank Younker. She is survived by: her mother Pauline Younker (Zimmerman) of Munjor; her husband Myron Lee Schlegel of Hays; her children, Ken Schlegel of Hays and Lisa Schlegel of Hays; and her brother Darold Younker (Evelyn) of Munjor. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Carol's memory may be made payable to the Humane Society of the High Plains.
