We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2022, at the age of 73, Shari McAfee of Haviland, Kansas, born in Pratt, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Delbert A. Meireis and Lucy Mae Meireis (Lyon); her spouse Terry McAfee; her daughter Jennifer Lee (Kevin); her grandchildren, Nathan Lee, Hannah Lee and Jessa Lee; and her sister Loudell Stanfield (Ted).

“Shari had such a contagious laugh. You couldn’t help laughing with her, in fact, I’m smiling as I write this just thinking about her. We have known each other since first grade. There were several singing groups at the Academy that we enjoyed being in together, and Terry sang in our wedding. I’m thankful I could call her my friend.
