He is survived by: his wife Lou Ann (Haviland); his children, Eric (Mary Burkin), Marijane and Debra Workman (Brian); his granddaughter Emma; and his brothers, Carl (Sheryl) and Don. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Resurrection - Overland Park Campus, 8412 W. 95th Street, Overland Park, Kansas in Charles' memory for Adult Studies.
