He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn G. Taylor and Helen E. Taylor Sr. (Holt); his wife Norma "Jean" Jones; his grandchildren, Kerry Clone and Tessa Tittel; and his brothers, Ancil, Stanley and Gary.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Taylor (Carol) of Ottawa, IL, Gregory Taylor (Francine) of Redwood City, CA, Douglas Taylor (Susan) of Auburn, CA, Valerie Droegemeier (Terry) of Geneseo and Michelle Symank (Frank) of Dundee; his siblings, Ronald Taylor (Carolyn) of Haviland and Connie Hardage (Darrell) of Lenexa; and his close friend Rose Spain of Haviland. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barton County Historical Society, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
