It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Rettig (Haven, Kansas), born in Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on December 14, 2018, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Howard; his daughter Shawnna Rettig; and his sister Sharon Logan. He is survived by: his spouse Sue Hale; his mother Opal Rettig of Graham, NC; his daughters, Shelli Rettig, Haven Rettig and Shannin Rettig (Chad Mathis); his siblings, David Rettig (Phyllis) of Blacksburg, Virginia and Jackie Rettig of Graham, NC; and his grandchildren, Killian, Madelynn Brown of Lawrence, KS, Crystal Kohl (Hale) and Buhler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charities Wayne held dearly, the Haven Food Bank or the Ronald McDonald House, both in care of the funeral home.
