She is survived by: her son Jim (Connie); her grandchildren, Brandon Hill of Overland Park, KS, Bill Ellithorpe (Courtney) of Kingman, KS, Tami (Hill), Harney (Aaron), Megan (Ellithorpe), Pope (Jonathan) of Little Rock, AR, Janel (Grame), Zion (Jeff) of Camden Point, MO, Stacy (Grame) and Zahn (Ed) of Lenexa, KS; and her great grandchildren, Spencer Ellithorpe, Camryn Hardgrave, Anderson Pope, Alyssa Zion, Katie Lomax (John), Whitley and Avery Zahn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“To the Ruth Hill family, please accept our sincere condolences in the great loss of such a sweet and lovable lady! During the time that I knew her and Duane, I was elected to do a few things for them at the farm, before they moved to town. While working at Panhandle Eastern, Duane found out that I'd made a clock with coins epoxied into the wood and asked if I'd do one for his lovely wife. He had special coins for her clock. She was proud of it because it was special for her from him!”
