We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2024, at the age of 93, Merle D. Oldenettel of Haven, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merle D. Oldenettel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred H. Oldenettel and Ella E. Oldenettel (Meyer); his sons, Brien Dean Oldenettel and Jay Devon Oldenettel; and his siblings, Floyd Oldenettel and LaRue Hays.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Oldenettel; his grandchildren, Kathy Nelson (Aaron) of Hutchinson, Thomas Oldenettel of Augusta, Benjamin Oldenettel of Hutchinson and Robert Oldenettel of McPherson; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel Nelson, Brayden Nelson, Ryker Oldenettel, Abby Oldenettel and Spencer Nelson.
