It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Scobee of Haven, Kansas, born in Pratt, Kansas, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Billie H. Venters-Hurt; her stepfather Pete Hurt; her siblings, Mike Venters, Bobbie Loehr and Barry Venters; and her father-in-law Chester Scobee.
She is survived by: her mother Martha Jean Venters-Hurt (Hearn) of Haven; her husband Willis G.; her daughters, Amanda Reese (Buddy) of Mt. Hope, Alisa Stover (Dave) of Chase and Alma Scobee (Phil Austin) of Haven; her siblings, Billie G. Venters (Sheri) of Haven, Marsha Wells (Poncho Smith) of Haven, Jerri Taylor (Steve) of Haven and Janet Jones (Bob) of Mt. Hope; her grandchildren, Ashton Bornholdt (Drew), Kara Chaffin, Regina Reichenberger (Luke), Layla "Bob" Reese, Autumn Otto (Sean Gilmore), Willy Otto, Harley Otto, Kalli Jo Otto, Chevy DeBusk, Waylon and Wade DeBusk; her great grandchildren, Sadie Grace, Bentley and Darrell; her mother-in-law Alma Scobee of Hutchinson; and her siblings-in-law, LaDonna Crowe of Hutchinson, Mark Loehr of Haven and Steve Scobee (Kathy) of Mt Hope.
