He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Holmes and Doris Braswell (Presnell); and his son Jay Dean Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Holmes; his daughters, Denise Geffert, Haven and Vickie Lanning (Brian); his daughter-in-law Martha Holmes; his grandchildren, Justin Lanning (Maddie) and Sarah Ensz (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Jay Lanning, Adeline Ensz and Jesse Ensz.
