She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter C. Stecher and Minnie C. Meyer Stecher; her husband Dr. George Knappenberger; and her sister Mildred Peitsch. She is survived by: her sons, Ken Knappenberger of Haven, KS and Dr. Kurt Knappenberger (Jean Ann) of Topeka, KS; her grandchildren, Kyle (Karen), Tory (Meghan), Bret (Jacinta) and Chad (Jackie) of Chicago, IL; her daughter Kathy Rule (Jim) of Edmond, OK; and her grandchildren, Ben Rule (Andee) of Oklahoma City, OK, Hannah Shattuck (Kody) of Edmond, OK and Melissa Wicker (Mike) of Norman, OK. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
