She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter L. Burden and Anna M. Burden (Crewse); her daughter Gloria Jean; and her siblings, Mervin, Marion, Vera, Viola, Cleora, Melba and Beulah.
She is survived by: her former husband Marvin "Barney" Ventsam of Haven, Kansas.; and her children, Eddie Ventsam of Costa Rica, Jeanette Ladd (Ed) of Hutchinson, Diane Krone (Mike) of Kanopolis Lake and Dena Kirkman (Jim) of Mt. Hope. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
