He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Denton and Thelma Denton (Darnell); his sister Lois Ann Cromley; and his brother-in-law Charles Cromley. He is survived by: his former wife Vicki Davis; his wife Peggy Denton; his daughters, Shannon Dunn (Matt), Stacy Case (Jeff) and Haven; and his grandchildren, Dane Gardner, Nate Gardner, Raegan Case, Kylee Dunn, Clarence, Pauline Hansel, Nathan Mormann (Kelly), Nicole Backes (Joe), Danielle Ryan (Kevin) and Shelby Backes (Tim). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
