With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Tremain of Havana, Kansas, born in Coffeyville, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wallace and Margaret Standeford (VanAusdall); and her father-in-law James Tremain. She is survived by: her husband Michael Lynn Tremain of Havana; her mother-in-law Mary Ann Tremain of Havana, KS; her sister Sandy Hanks of Dewey, OK; her children, Rebecca (Hanna) and Sol Hanna (Robyn) of Coffeyville, KS; her grandchildren, Chase Brake (Jaycee) of Bartlesville, OK, Chance Brake (Cali) of Tyro, KS, Chandler Brake of Tyro, KS, Dillon Kaminska of Derby, KS, Dani Hanna (Tyler) of Independence, KS and Sol Michael Hanna of Omaha, NE; and her great grandchildren, Elaina, Chasin, Beau and Charli Brake.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Tyro Christian Church (301 S Market St, Tyro, KS 67364). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu flowers the family asks for donations to be made payable to the Tyro Christian Church.
