It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Skelton of Hartford, Kansas, born in Big Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Max E. Skelton and Shirley Skelton (Baker); his wife Barbara Merritt; and his children, Max Skelton of Garnett, KS, Russell Skelton of Shawnee, OK, Jason Skelton of Shawnee, OK, Justin Skelton of Shawnee, OK, Pamela Stithem of Reading, KS and Kristina Rochelle. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the American Cancer Society or the Color Guard of Lowry-Funston Post #1980, VFW.
