With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William T Smith of Harper, Kansas, who passed away on March 13, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepfather Ervin C. "Dutch" Moore; his sister-in-law Ellen Smith; and his stepson Justin T. Jane't. He is survived by: his former wife Julia Ann Vavra; his wife Sue Jane't (Wiseley); his children, Brandy Rice (Eric) of Arkansas City, Kansas and James Williams of Anthony; his stepson Heath Jane't; his siblings, Jim Smith of Altoona, Kansas, Judy Stone (Chuck) of West Branson and Sherry Owen (Jack) of Argonia; and his grandchildren, Stephany Carter (Chris), Wylie Williams, Keith Jane't, Jennifer Jane't (Justin Arnold), Dylan Davenport (Hunter Emond), Landon Davenport, Addie Darbe and Kenzie Jane't. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; his law enforcement family; other relatives and many friends.
