Though Verna may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Verna touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lela Ethel Holtsclaw (Rymph) and Vernon Holtsclaw. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Boyer (Cheryl) of Augusta, Lynda Boyer Fisher (Wade) of Harper and Robert Boyer (Sharon) of Wichita; her sister Deanna Evans (Delmar) of Harper; and her cousin Don Rymph of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harper City Cemetery (121 NE 100 Rd, Harper, KS 67058).
Memorial contributions can be made to the Harper Public Library and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
