He is survived by: his parent Delma Alice DeChenne (Nida); his wife Laura Jean Walker; his close friends, Dave and Jim; his children, Stephen W. DeChenne of Hutchinson, Staci DeChenne of Indianapolis and Shaun DeChenne of Harper; his close friend Rufus; his parent Carrol DeChenne; his nephew Nathan Smith; and his niece Brianna Fischer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society of Wichita and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
