He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Ray and Edith Marie Nicholas (Huddleston); his wife Vickie Rae Trotter; his daughter-in-law Daphne Nicholas; his niece Cherle Wohlschlegel; and his sister-in-law Ronda Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Nicholas (Janet) of Wichita and Kristin Harding (Ron Scholz) of Overland Park, Kansas; his sister Jody Wohlschlegel (Dale) of Harper; his grandchildren, Staci Cushenbery (Jerry) of Harper, Kira Chapman (Joe) of Wichita, Scott Nicholas (Rachel) of Wichita, Logan Cain of Wichita, Bremen Scholz of Overland Park, Hannah Harding (Mike Cordes) of Grandview, Emma Harding of Overland Park, Brenna Scholz of Overland Park and Ryan Harding of Overland Park; his brother-in-law Dave Miller of Attica; and his nieces and nephews, Gary Wohlschlegel, Brook Stitt and Jamie Watts. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.
