She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Perry and Artie Cathleen Pace (Watson); her husband Howard; and her siblings, Louise Maltby, Jo Dell Carter, Doris Reed Couch and James Pace.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Dale Short (Jeanna) of El Dorado, Daniel Short (Vickie) of Caldwell, David Short (Dee) of Harper, Teresa Shippy (Kevin) of Manhattan and Tim Short of Wichita, Kansas; her grandchildren, Anna McDowell (Kyle), Tony Short (Danielle), Colby Short (Heidi), Corie Taylor (Shane), Lori Enrico (Ryan), Cody Short, Kyle Williams, Kyle Short, Alexis Williams, Katelyn Shippy, Ashlynn Burkett, Christopher Short and Sadie Short; and her sister-in-law Cathy Short. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Harper Art Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
