He was predeceased by: his parents, Tenus Aistrup and Mintie Aistrup (Hoofer); his siblings, Guy "G. W.", Lyle, Duayne "Bud", Jack, Jerry, Rex Aistrup and Betty Houser; and his daughter-in-law Debra Aistrup.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy P. Lynch; his children, Bob (Barb New) of Stafford, KS and Rebecca Gerber (Lance); his sisters-in-law, Teresa Aistrup and Toni Aistrup; and his granddaughter Regan Gerber.
