He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Truman and Sylvia May Clifton Salmans; and his sister Elaine Keeten. He is survived by: his former spouse Francie Stinnett; his wife Karen Rufenacht; his children, Nancy Salmans, Eielson Air, Gary Salmans (Kim), Brian Salmans (Kristin) and Jill Miller (Bob); and his siblings, Larry (Marilyn) of Hanston, KS, Walt Salmans (Gwen) of Hanston, KS, Sylvia Ann Barron (BJ) and Jana Jordan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
