He was predeceased by: his daughter Jo Lynn Hubin; his siblings, Tommy Hubin and Lana Paschal; and his granddaughter Jaris Slaton. He is survived by: his parents, Glen Hubin and Mary Nutt Hubin; his children, Joshua Hubin (Jamie) of McPherson, KS and Bonnie Slaton (Jarrett) of Green Bay, WI; his siblings, James Hubin of Clark, MO, Sharon Grate of Andover, KS, Becky Benda and Patti Duerksen; and his grandchildren, Jordan Slaton, Brittanie Slaton and Brooklyn Slaton.
