It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Frances Wilson-Brooks of Hanston, Kansas, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on July 1, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Bishop and Edna Lee Heimer (Cowan); her husbands, Glen Wilson and Frederick Brooks; her brother James Heimer; and her granddaughter Traci.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Wilson (Shirley) of Ulysses, Jean Lyman (Dean) of Sharon, Jared Wilson (Veronica) of Little River and Jolana Perkins (Roger) of Miltonvale. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church of Dodge City or Hanston and Presbyterian Manor of the Plains in care of the funeral home.
