It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verla M. Kruse of Hanover, Kansas, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Blanke and Clara Blanke (Mueller); her husband Harold Kruse; her daughter Kathleen Lovig; and her siblings, Lorna Friedrichs and Rev. Norwood Blanke.
She is survived by: her children, Allan Kruse (Deb) of Hanover, Richard Kruse of Hanover, David Kruse (Donna) of Hanover and Laura Kunkel (Bud) of Roswell, NM; her son-in-law Dean Lovig of Paola, KS; and her grandchildren, Kyle Kruse (Monika), Dr. Kristin Blanding (Keith), Kent Kruse (Lisa), Ryan Lovig (Jennifer), Dr. Eric Lovig (Jena), Chad Kruse, Jodi Clary (Jack), Kathryn Arvidson (Joshua), Jill Williams (Drew), Jennifer Kruse, Dennis Kruse (Liz) and Paul Kruse (Maddie). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established and will be designated later.
