The passing of Phillip Swearingen of Hanover, Kansas, born in Marysville, Kansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 25, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Swearingen and Dorothy Swearingen; his son Michael Swearingen; his granddaughter Katherine; his siblings, Bill, Jack, John, Art, Joanne Johannes, Sharon Shephard, Mildred Hearn and Sandra Hearn; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy, Betty, Lou, Velma, Ralph Lantz and Robert Hearn, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Swearingen; his sons, Brian Swearingen (Sheila) of Hanover, Timothy Swearingen (Jody) of Wymore and James Swearingen (Jeri) of Hanover; his sisters-in-law, Patty Lantz of Beatrice and Emma Daedler (Jerry) of Blue Springs, Nebraska; his brother Mick Swearingen (Alice) of Waterville; his grandchildren, Catin, Becca, Brianna, Kaidyn, Fatima, Wyatte, Linzy, Katie, Chevy, Kailey, Oasis, Destunie and Chris; and his great grandchildren, Faye, Kylah, Kash, Emma, Gidion, Laim, Braden, Jase, Nolan, Sylir, Blayke, Daikyn and Evelynee Alice. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and two nieces.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christie-Anderes Funeral Home (308 W Walnut St, Waterville, KS 66548). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Phillip Swearingen Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date.
