The memory of Mary Catherine White of Hanover, Kansas, who passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Koppes and Margaret Koppes (Doebele); her husband Dennis White of John's Catholic Church; her son Douglas White; and her sister Patricia Koppes.
She is survived by: her children, Cathie Klecan (Don) of Beatrice, NE, Lisa Brinkerhoff of Huntington, UT, Margaret Feldkamp (Fred) of Axtell, KS, Michael White (Jane) of Hanover and Dennis White (Karla) of Hanover; and her siblings, John Koppes (Jo) of Clay Center, KS, Jan Fedewa (Ron) of Lansing, MI and Sharon Smith (Phil) of Denver, CO. She is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calendar Hanover Mortuary (110 S Hollenberg St, Hanover, KS 66945). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Calendar St. John's Catholic Church (100 Church St, Hanover, KS 66945). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
A memorial fund has been established to help the community.
