He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wetter and Victoria Wetter (Smetana); his wife Marjorie Buessing; his son Dale Wetter; his grandson Cory Wetter; and his siblings, Joseph Wetter, Ray Wetter, Gertrude Kramer, Marie Doebele and Dorothy Bruna.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Wetter (Ruth), Jerry Wetter (Lori) of Salina, KS, Roger Wetter (Donna), David Wetter (Amanda) of Randolph, KS and Karla Swenson (Kevin) of Clay Center, KS. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
