She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Helmlinger and Helen Helmlinger (Smetana); her husband Duane Hynek of John's Catholic Church; her siblings, Edward Helmlinger and Eileen Bramlage; and her granddaughter Jessie Foust.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Foust (Graham) of Junction City, KS, David Hynek (Jill) of Manhattan, KS, Amy Dalebout (Jody) of Lake Wales, FL, Alan Hynek (Kathy), Lori Hagedorn (Mark) and Lee Hynek (Ariel). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established to Catholic Charity.
