She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Elmer Hawkins and Elaine "Pearl" Hawkins (Bobey). She is survived by: her son Curtis Duane Ashley; her husband Melvin Casey of Hamilton; her son Steve Ashley (Paige) of Tonganoxie; her grandchildren, Brian (Mandy) of Lawrence and Taylor Ashley of Topeka; and her brothers, Jim Bobey (Francis) of Eureka and Jerry Bobey (Linda) of Topeka, Kansas..
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Koup Family Funeral Home (121 N Oak St, Eureka, KS 67045). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Neal United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Hamilton City Library.
