It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Steinert (Halstead, Kansas), born in Bristow, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 31, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Andrew Jackson and Millie Naoma Gower (Deel); her spouse Donald W. Steinert; her children, Donald Steinert (Kathleen) of Halstead, Darren Steinert (Jennifer) of Newton, Rhonda Christy (Don) of Halstead, Debbie Steinert Warden (Wayne) of Wichita and Sue Whitmer (Leroy) of Halstead; her sisters, Barbara McDowell (Mike) of Sioux Falls, Thelma Cates of Holyrood and Francis Woolverton of El Dorado; her daughter-in-law Renee Steinert of Moundridge; her close friend Stephanie Steiner of Halstead; and her siblings, Ray Gower, Glenn Gower, Norma Jean Woodsend, Ruth Costanza and Wanda Harford. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
