He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Hale and Goldie Hale. He is survived by: his former wife Diana Mickell; his wife Diana Hale; his children, Todd L. Hale and Lori Hale Pace (Marc); and his stepsons, Stacy A. Edgell and Shawn M. Edgell (Kelly). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
